It's a fast paced environment where you will learn, have fun, and be a part of amazing and innovative technology. The Software Engineer Internship is a hands-on role where you will have an impact on the core product of the company, social applications, web and data analytics tools, web marketing engines, and much more. This role is designed to be very flexible so you can work part-time or full-time, as best fits your school schedule.
 

The role would allow you to take on a variety of different projects as our business evolves; some representative project areas are provided below:
+ Build social applications for Facebook, MySpace and Hi5 that leverage the BillShrink API.
+ Build a real-time data analysis platform that mixes in data from web analytics and user data and third party data sources.
+ Build an engine that can automatically verify the validity of data that is extracted by our data extraction engine.
+ Create algorithms that can automatically extract and normalize information reliably from natural language text around the web.

What we are looking for
+ Strong foundation in basic algorithms and experience with more than one of Java, Ruby, Python
+ Creative thinker that can find innovative solutions to hard problems
+ A team player with strong communication skills.
