Front End Engineer at Truaxis in Redwood City, CA

VC-Funded Startup Looking for Brilliant Front End Engineers

We at Truaxis are looking for an outstanding front-end developer with rock-solid Javascript skills. We utilize Javascript very heavily in order to create a seamless, compelling, best-in-class user experience. Truaxis has created the world's most sophisticated platform for analyzing consumers' anonymized shopping behavior, bringing them targeted savings based on an unprecedented trove of transaction data; the way we will win this market is by effectively leveraging this data to create the most compelling user experience.  You will work closely with other members of the Truaxis team to conceptualize, build, and enhance cutting-edge products, similar to the award-winning services available today on "billshrink.com" and Truaxis.com.

 

What you'll do

  • Create high quality, cross-browser compatible (incl. IE 6) XHTML/CSS out of Fireworks & Photoshop mocks
  • Architect and implement complex AJAX & JSONP user experiences
  • Optimize and fine tune our applications for maximum performance, speed, and stability

  • JavaScript/jQuery ninjas who are also well-versed in front-end markup
  • Cross-site scripting expertise

    • Templating/JSP/JSTL knowledge
    • Previous plugin authoring
